I have a simple question. I have read many articles where sailors are enjoying a sundowner after a day of sailing. I realise it's a beverage, but what constitutes a good sundowner? Any favorite recipes will be appreciated. Robert

Robert, it's anything cold and soothing but...

...it's usually assumed the term refers to something alcoholic and, of course sharing it with friends in the anchorage and at that magical time of late afternoon/early evening. Or at least that's my definition! Jack

Painkillers, yes...but...

...they really should be made with Pusser's rum. Nothing else seems as smooooth!
