here is a little Sunday on Seneca!

The wind was a steady 7-8 mph. We were able to make 6-7 mph on close hauled and 8.5 on a close reach. We tried our asymmetrical spinnaker for the first time downwind. By then, the wind had died but we still managed 4-5 mph ddw.

I'm turning green with envy. Oh wait...
But seriously, I've been to Wagner Winery but that was 17 years ago. Dang the Finger Lakes are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Sunday on Seneca (north end)
I got out early and soon had about a dozen other sailboats for company.
They were getting prepared for a little race so I got out of their play area.
Beautiful morning. Wonderful lake with lots of space to maneuver.

Sunday (afternoon) on Seneca's north end

We took MARA out to play for the third time in five days. Nice breeze to start then very light for about 20 minutes then fine again. We did comment that there were more boats than usual on that end of the lake. Back at the dock we sat on deck for a while to listen to the band at Stivers Marina. Tough job, but someone needs to do it. Considering going to the boat even as I type!
