I'm having my mainsail converted to a StackPack by Doyle. Can anyone tell me what the actual Sunbrella color is that is used on companion way, sail, and cushion covers? Is it Navy? Can't tell for sure from the Sunbrella web site.

Could be Captain Navy...

...but please confirm it. There may be a new name for the color.

Not facory canvas

But it is the same color I've seen on H26s. Really dark blue. I thought it might be Navy, but wasn't sure.

Online Color Chart

Dick, For what it is worth, I posted a link to Sailrite's sunbrella color chart. We have a 1998 H376 with the Hunter Dark Blue color. Our Dodger and Bimini was made by North Sails. The Sunbrella Color "Navy" is a very close match. I am not sure if the difference is dye lot or manufacturer. good luck, Mike D

Be careful with online colors...

...they can vary quite a lot between monitors, but you should be able to scope out a relative difference. Navy is dark. Captain Navy has a slight purple cast to it. Pacific Blue is light blue. If your color is almost black and does not have that purple cast it is probably Navy. Go to our chandlery here, pull up one of the products and click a link in the description called "How to choose blues." All the various Sunbrella blues are laid on top of each other which may give you some clues. p.

Shades of Blue

My suggestion for a Color Match is to take the cloth you have into an Upholstery Shop, West Marine, BoatUS<wich have now merged>, look at the Swatches they have on thier Color Charts, and get the best match you can. But remeber any Fabric can be Dyed to match any other. We are talking Colours here, and in my Charts I have more than 10 shades of Sunbrella Blue, there is or should be a Tag on a hem that has the Code# for that Colour. Or look in your Paperwork and see if you can locate the Color Code#.Happy Sailing. Johnny
