After a nice reach down the western shore of the bay past Camden, I motored over and into Pulpit Harbor for a lunch stop. From there into the building westerly wind, I enjoyed a close haul until Rockport, lined up with a 100 degree reciprocal course on the compass.
It was the only tack of the day and I was pleasantly surprised to see we had 10 degrees to spare. Cracking off the sheets a bit, we roared homeward into the inner harbor ahead, just CHRISTMAS and I.
