Before I start the great search on what is out there on the market for 12 volt blenders, I thought I would throw this out to get some suggestions or recommendations. Thanks

Be careful! In all my years I have never tried one that was any good, like most DC appliances. If Caguy has found a good one I would buy that one if I were going to get one. Chief

I don't know what size blender you're looking at, but any chance of using a small (eg. 200-300W) plug in inverter to supply a 120V blender ? Do the arithmetic and it might work and then you've got the reliability of a 120V well known reliable appliance.

Thanks fellas.......

That 12 volt unit got good reviews and might do the trick. The inverter might do the trick as well since we already have an AC powered blender at home.

A sailboat in the summer in Atlanta, GA (Lake Lanier) becomes a party barge! No wind, no current, no tides, time to anchor out, stay cool and enjoy BOAT DRINKS!

Bottoms Up!!

Don't get me wrong, for was it does I am grateful, but my Bullet it ain't. I used an inverter with my 120v blender until I burned out the inverter. Can't find a decent inverter that doesn't break the bank. If I had one I'd bring the Bullet on board. Faster, smoother blends and takes up less space. Cleans easily and I can drink right from the mixing container.

Tiny too.

Really, go for the inverter. It's worth it for electronics adapters, power tools and the like.

Say, is that Bulleit you're referring to? If so, here's all the blender you need (below); it's the one I use--definitely delivers the 12 volts!!
