We spent a very rough night on the outer buoy at Echo Bay this month. Like sleeping on a rodeo bull ride. Moved to a more protected one in the morning.

When and where did you take that beautiful the image?

That was in 2012, in late June, in Sucia Island. That whole area is incredibly photogenic. We had chartered a Catalina 30 out of Bellingham.
