Is this a blue water boat?
or
Will this be a good first boat?
or
What kind of wax will make this gleam?
or
Can someone please teach me to sail this?
or
Will my F350 be strong enough to pull this through the Rocky Mountains?
or
Is asking $375 or is he offering me $375 to take it?

Well,if the 20 foot aluminum yard arm doesn't seal the deal, I don't know what will.

Lot of work particularly the pine sap probably to remove. No mention of rigging, sails rudder, daggerboard and so forth not to mention tires may be dry rotted, bearings and racers shot and so on. Kermit, have you lost your green gills?

What amazes me is that they do not even think of cleaning it a bit before listing it for sale. When it does not sell they'll probably blame it on a soft boating market. Just dig the trailer out of the ground, get the rust out, paint, put new wheel bearings, tires and lights; have it ready to roll so if someone shows interest they can drive it away before talking themselves out of a deal. I would not take a cent under $450 to move it as is.

The price is low enough that you will not get hurt too badly. I would get in there and pull the dirt out and check for holes/damage. Make sure everything is there. i.e. mast and boom and tiller, centerboard and rudder and that all are useable. Does it have sails? If it is all there and the boat is useable or just a few minor repairs and cleanup from useable I would offer maybe $300. You will need to buy wheels and probably lights for the trailer. That will be another $150.00 just to get it home. An F-150 will pull it.

A $375 bon fire on wheels. Comes with it own kindling......just add match. Actually , I bought a Force 5 that was close to this condition. It cleaned up nice but it was a closed cockpit unlike this mosquito infested water collector. Like someone said, why are people so stinking lazy to not even take a few minutes to pull a few branches off and attempt to clean it before posting it for sale. Gotta love the ""price is firm" too!LOL

Jeez, with all the military background on this forum I am shocked that no one recognized this as a very clever job of camouflage designed to keep flyover boat thieves from finding this gem.

You better call the EPA first as it looks like it might be a habitate for endangered critters. I think I saw a cockaded woodpecker in there BTW

In all seriousness, I had red-cockaded woodpeckers on my property at the former marital home. Good call on the right habitat. They nest in long-leaf pine forests. We now return you to our regular scheduled post.
