Well, we made it to St. Simon's with my new/old boat Salacia, arriving from Cape Canaveral Florida in just under 35 hours :dance:. St. Simons Sound was entered at approximately 0300 and anchor was dropped outside Frederica Yacht Club at 0450 to await daylight so we could locate slip. Problems encountered were very few and manageable. A very courteous water pump failure while still in port, a few questionable aspects of a new rigging job were resolved and about 8 hrs of very lumpy seas approximately 25-30 miles offshore of Jacksonville. Salacia performed well despite systems that had been unused for many years and earned the respect of all four crew. Thanks to everyone here who offered advice and assistance for this voyage!
