My problem is with the subfloor on my 2007 H38. I have a 1/4 to 3/8 in. warp/bow in the subfloor under the port side aft corner of galley. This is the area under refrigerator and caused the floor to sink down in thia area. The fix, looks like I will have to jack up the subfloor and reinforce it with a wood stringer. Problems? What damage might I cause to the counter top? Will the strain on the bilge area when I jack up the corner be excessive? Anyone else have this problem, and does this sound like the best fix for the problem?

I called Hunter talked with one of the engineers, he said give it a try. Go slow and hope for the best. If I hear any cracking stop.

Are you sure it's really warped?

I had a very similar problem when I first bought my Hunter 45CC; but soon discovered that the aft waste tank, which is under the galley area flooring, would bulge whenever it was nearly full and push the supporting headers and sole board up about 1/2 inch. I had recently had a water spill from the cockpit hatch and thought the boards were warped. My dealer trimmed the interfering header slightly and the problem was solved. The reason this occurred is because Hunter did a sloppy job installing the waste tank; but it is permanently secured and cannot be easily adjusted or removed.
