Stuffing Box

I need to repack the stuffing box on my 1994 29.5. I have heard of the dry system to repack. I have also heard that you do not need to do the whole repack, but just the outer layers. Any suggestions?

Go with PSS

Do yourself a favor. Put in a PSS. It is SO nice to have a totally dry bilge, and it also puts less load on the shaft
