Would like to know if anyone has had a problem and possible fix for a leak in the stuffing box at the propeller shaft. I have PYI system on my prop shaft and noticed a leak running down from where the PYI system and the fiberglass are attached with a hose clamp. I also noted that only one of the two hose clamps is able to physically tighten around the fiberglass holding the rubber of the PYI system to the fiberglass where the prop shaft exits the vessel. Has any one with a Beneteau 345 had to increase the fiberglass to get a better hold using this type of system at the prop shaft stuffing box. Any help to this question would be greatly appreciated.
