Stuck screw on prop anode

I thought I would take care of simple task today. Replace the prop anode. Had to shave to get my mask to seal. The hookah worked flawlessly. But the screw is stuck in the anode/prop shaft. Normally I would just apply some heat but I can't do that under water. Ideas?

I feel your pain.

Aluminum and Magnesium are pretty soft metals. With a hookah you could use a hacksaw to cut away enough of the anode to let it fall away.
I thought of that but I don't have a saw on the boat.

I'm thinking about putting a drill bit in my cheap cordless screwdriver and putting the assembly in a zip lock bag and drilling the head of the screw off.

It is probably a SS screw. I'd go with the hacksaw.

I had to touch up my shave, my mask was leaking too much.

I wish I had some lefthand drill bits with me!

Still waiting for the battery to change.

I have this tool on my boat. My version rotates the handle too.
In fact I used it today to loosen hose clamp, not with the flat blade type.

Using the right bit, you can ratchet off your screw, underwater.;)

The allen head bolt is damaged, especially now after drilling it. I definitely need more tools on my boat.

The hull potential in now 320mV. I didn't take a before reading and I can't remember what it was last winter.

It's been a long but productive day

Amazing how something so simple in theory, can be so difficult.
320 seems extremely low for a BEN 31. I am currently using a collar zinc & 6lb drop zinc. Can’t recall last reading (have it onboard); however, i do believe it is in the 800-900 range.
