I am adding new instrumentation to my 1985 Hunter 31. I would like to mount the displays (Raymarine ST40's)in the bulkheads on each side of the companionway. I can see there will be no problem with the starboard bulkhead which opens to the deep starboard lazerette, but I am not so sure of the port Bulkhead. Does anyone know for sure if there is a wiring path that connects the two bulkheads? Can I get a wire to snake from one bulkhead to the other by going under the companionway step?
