Do you know the history of your boat, how many owners, how was it used, cruising/racing, any hard groundings, storm damage?

Your cross beam crack appears to be much more severe then mine.
Check structural integrity around the lamination points around the hull and compression post areas for collision impact to the hull.
Check for flexing of the hull which would indicate a compromise to the hull. Also check to see if the cross beam has any twists in it from your photo it does not appear that there is.

The cross beam stringers are there to stiffin the up the hull.
I have found that a lot of h34 owners have this same issue.
Mine has been like this for about 20 years and is still on my to do repair list.
I plan to grind it out and feather it out and lay in some Kevlar or fiberglass and re-gelcote it.

I wouldn't panic just yet! I found that most of the cracks formed do to poor quality control at the factory when the boats were layer up.

Yours looks to be very similar to mine and not structural, however still look at areas I suggested. More photo from different angles would help.

Hope this helps.⛵
