The First Mate and I went to the Strictly Sail Show in Chicago yesterday. It was a great trip, well worth the six hours driving time. We were able to park in the ramps at Navy Pier, leave our coats in the car and walk forty feet to the elevator. There was absolutely no crowd there and we were able to talk on a one on one basis to the seminar instructors. Jack Klang was a great help with docking and rigging modifications that we want to do.We found things to spend money on and enjoyed talking sailing with some of the vendors. And my dream boat was on display, the Alerion 38. Don't miss the show and note they close the show early(3:00PM)on Sunday for the Super Bowl. Go Bears!!
