Do you have a strange story from your yacht? A ships log from the three ships that made the 1492 trip to the America's spoke of strange lights in the sky.

What have you seen?

1976 formosa 41 yankee clipper santa barbara. ca.(not there)
mebbe their strange lights on the sky were the aurora borealis.....

On watch at 0300 April 1996 about 75 miles east of Hatteras on a celestial training cruise aboard Ocean Navigator's Ocean Star, we had several sightings of wierd lights coming at us from the coast and then receding back toward land. Nothing showed on radar. A tanker about ten miles off our port beam raised us on the VHF, inquiring whether we had seen anything strange. Nothing on his radar, either. The lights appeared, then receded, several times. Who knows what the Navy tests out there. We knew, tho, that we were in the Bermuda triangle......

On several occasions, while on short weekend cruises with my teenaged kids... Out of the blue...with no prodding at alll... I've heard my teenagers ask...

"Hey dad, is there anything I can do to help out":eek:

there is something magic about a boat :D
