Sandy sent my boat for a ride into a Marsh. She is sitting on her keel, cradled on the port side by some scrub trees. No obvious hull damage. She is surrounded by other boats that were destroyed. Kinda weird....

One tough boat! Will the insurer take over from here, or will you, yourself?

What Next

A very tall crane will bring her back to the yard. She is about 150 ft from the storage area.

Tough Boat

She is a very tough boat. She is a BRISTOL!
Still planning to do Marion-Bermuda with her this summer for the second time. Maybe Marblehead Halifax as well.

The new paint job may have to wait....

Now I would call her an explorer boat. She deserves a nice battle ribbon on her somewhere prominent.

Was She already out on a stand?

Just wondering, was she already sitting out of the water prior to the storm?

That's amazing. Count your blessings, you got a bonus with that one. Good luck getting her back on the water.

Don't some of the insurance companies sometimes hire heavy lift helicopters to "air lift" multiple boats?

Blue note started out of the water on jackstands 200 feet from the water about 6 feet above high tide

Positive thoughts and hoping for a good outcome. Do keep us well informed on your progress and if possible include lots of pictures and video. Bristols are great boats (I have a 27) and are tough!
