Beneteau 361 Chesapeake
Hello all, I'm installing a dickinson heater in my Beneteau 361. I'm down to the final job of cutting through the deck and putting in the chimney. The question I have is: Is there an easy way or product that will accommodate my slanted deck (where the chimney comes through (port side bulkhead) Do people sand down a block of wood? Use a bandsaw to get the right angle? Thanks in advance for the advice! Captain of the BananaToe

Thank you

This is helpful. I guess a day with a carving knife, some sandpaper and a case of Molson is what is required. Sorry to hear about your cook, but if you had to choose between her and your boat... well it's not much of a decision is it. :) Cheers, C PS- We're practically neighbors- I have a cottage on Salt Spring Island. Unfortunately I have to live in San Francisco the other 50 weeks a year to make the payments.

Run Away

BT, Perhaps you and Janet should run away and live the good life on Saltspring. Your boat would be way happier hanging out with other Benes. I sail around the Saltspring area every other weekend. This sailor's paradise. Pete
