this year was a stormy 333 mile spinnaker run. is there anything more fun on a sailboat than flying a spinnaker in a fresh breeze?
i don't think so!

a j111 out foxed the 52's. it out foxed the 70's, using the thunder bumpers like a pinball.

Looks like a hoot! That boat is scooting.. Certainly more fun looking than ghosting along in wind so light that ya have to have a cigarette clipped to a shroud to see where the wind is!

Did a Chi-Mac where we had a 60 knot squall for about 15 minutes, up near the Manitous. Then it went back to having someone light a cigarette. Taping them to the shrouds could end up with holes in the spinnaker though. We always held them by hand.
