Storage ports for widgeon?

Can I install access ports on the widgeon? I would like to put them under the seat and in the bow. Is there a reference on the net or book that tells how to do it without compromising the the strength of the boat? I'd be using 4" and 5" ports. Thanks, SJ

Steve - You can add storage ports without compromising structural strength as long as you don't put ports less the a few inches apart from each other. I would also avoid adding ports to any area the you can flex with a push because you'll point load the glass. I'd be more worried about compromising the watertightness of the floatation tanks.
