Baking Soda

I use baking soda in all my boots, sailing shoes, other athletic shoes periodically. Remove the insoles and sprinkle some in for a day or two, then just let the residual fall out of the shoes and the remainding "dust" will keep em smelling good for quite a long time. Also eliminates moisture too.

Anti-fungal powder best.

Baking soda works to absorb odor but an anti-fungal powder is more effective to prevent it. Try Tinactin powder. Crocs are great - I wear them in & around the house all the time but I think they would be dangerous when the lee rail is buried or the boat bouncing around in a seaway 'cause they don't offer any lateral support. AC's right - "chicks do NOT dig stinky feet"
