Stinky potable water

I bought my Hunter 33 two months ago and the fresh water pump was not working. I have since repaired the pump but the water coming out smells really really stinky. I have flushed it with water but the smell remains. What would be the cure? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Joe R.

run some Clorox through your system --just add it into the water in your tank and then pump it dry then add fresh water and it should he Ok

Not quite that simple

The whole system including the plumbing should be recommissioned to accomplish more than a short-term fix...which means the right amount of bleach left in the whole system long enough to do any good, but not long enough to do any harm (bleach is corrosive). I've posted directions several times...search the archives for "fresh water."
