WOW This stinkin weather sucks. Left Slidell two weeks ago today, and have made a grand total of 300 miles in those two weeks. One day lost due to a bad injector, which I had posted up about previously. Other than that, have spent days just sitting and relaxing, waiting out these thunderstorms. Good thing had plenty of reading material and fishing gear aboard. Only bad stuff we have travelled in it from Pensacola over to Port St. Joe. Took 34 hours to make that 120 miles. 25 knots dead on the nose, 6 to 8 footers, steep and close together. Got in here late Friday afternoon, and have been again sitting and relaxing since. Boat is doing much better than the occupants. According to all the weather info. I can find, this stalled out front is finally outta here, and are heading out from Port.St. Joe, across the Fla. panhandle early in the morning for Tampa. Supposed to be some rain along the way, but at least nothing severe. Or so they say, time will tell.

Hang On

Notice that at least you are out there while the rest of us (at least me) are reading about it. Believe me, I'd rather be there - even in less than perfect weather!
