sticky tellteles

I had my sails cleaned last winter and they replaced the telltales on the jib but they put the new ones in a slightly different spot. They apparently did not clean the old adhesive properly and the new telltales are sticking to the old adhesive. Anyone know of a good product to remove the old adhesive without staining or damaging the sail?

Spray the telltales and sticky area with McLube Sailkote. That may help.

I'd go with goo off. Tell tales get stuck on anything!
