I need a replacement stern tube or strut for the shaft, 3/4" shaft, that is coupled with an Atomic 4. Help, I'm dead in the water!

Just a little vague

The strut and the stern tube usually are two different creatures. The stern tube provides the hole for the shaft to stick out into the water a packing gland on the inside keep the water on the outside. A strut usually has a cutlass bearing in it and supports the shaft on the outside of the boat just forward of the propeller. The strut rarely fails but the bearing can need replacing on occasion. The stern tube is usually built into the hull and unless it has beendamaged doesn't go bad. Ross in Bel Air
