I have an 87 Hunter 31 that is coming out next month for the bottom to be sanded and repainted at a DIY boatyard...like to replace the stuffing box with a new PSS dripless. I notice another posting from someone else about the diameter size of the stern tube for the 295. My question is do any of the other 31' owners out here know the size of the stern tube for an 87 Hunter 31? WIll be replacing the old gate valve hull fitting also under the galley sink.
