I'm looking for seats to go on the standard C 22 stern rails. Anybody have any idea where I can find the seats without having to replace the entire stern rail?

Only aftermarket seats I know of

The only ones I know if require a double stern rail. I believe the 22 is a single, right? You may have to build a set yourself or look for a custom fabricator...

You may want to try SAIL2000. They have what is called Stern Perch Seats. I have a set for my C-27 with a split backstay and they are great for added room in the cockpit. They simply mount to the stern rail and have a leg for support.Their website is www.sail2000.com. They may either have them already available or give you instructions as to how to develop a pattern for them. I suppose if you really had to, you could develop a pattern and cut them from KING STARBOARD and mount them yourself. Hope this helps. Mike Beaujean Timeless Flight 1983 C-27

Make your own

I have a post printed out from some time ago that give detailed instructions on how to build your own. Of course, they're at home so I can (hopefully) remember to post them tonight. LaDonna

Yes, we sell those on this site

check the Chandlery to see them broken out by Catalina model. However, they do not fit a C22. They require a double rail. Also, FYI, buying from our chandlery (which costs no more and sometimes less than buying direct from the manufacturer) also supprts the operation of the web site. :)
