I have a '77 Mac 25 with stern rail (pulpit). However, the rail does not extend far enough aft (to the stern corners of the boat)before bending to come across the stern of the boat, i.e. the rail cuts across the port and starboard corners of the stern. This causes the main sheet to hang up on the rail (friction) when the boom is just off center a few degrees, and inhibits the further release of the sheet to allow the boom to swing further outward towards the stern corners as would be appropriate on a beam reach or even further out when sailing down wind (a run). Is there someplace east of the Mississippi River I can get my stern pulpit modified if I remove it from my boat, or a place where I can buy the appropriate pulpit? I do have the address for Railmaker, Inc in CA. GO CATS in the NCAA tournament!
