Couldn,t find anyone to make stern rails for 23.5,so made my own.Didn,t want stern seats,just something to attach Lifesling and bring lifelines up. ,So nice to be able to unhook pelican hook and leave boat with out tripping over factory lifeline.Also made New folding table for cabin.Used self supporting hinges,.doubled the size of original.

Most excellent dj. It has been argued that stern rail seats are not the best place to sit for weight distribution even on the h26 (260). My wife enjoys them as she calls them the queens chairs. "Of course they are dear."
I like the stern rails. Completely understand the tripping over the lifelines! Where did you get the rails?
Bill,I made them myself.Bought rails and hardware at Wholesale Marine.Bent a temp out of 3/4 conduit,refined and bent stainless rails.Filled stainless with pool filter sand so as not to kink.Worked great.$150.00 total cost.If you know an electrician will help with bender.Use 7/8 tubing to fit in bender.
