Just bought a '84 Catalina 27 and the stern light doesn't work. Tried changing the bulb. Any suggestion as to a starting point ? Thanks.

I have an 86 Catalina that I replaced all the lights on. They worked but the plastic lenses were faded. I found exact replacement lights at Boatersworld. I would check for power with a test light and take it from there. good luck, Jack

Connections
One of the things to check is the wiring connections. Older Catalinas didn't use tinned wiring. Our bow light and stern light had old lamp wiring. Check both ends of the wiring.
