Stern gland lubrication

The stern gland on my Vega has a clear plastic tube attached which
was full of oil when I got her but is now empty. Anyone know what
oil I should use?

Hi Paddy

Use a thick oil like two-stroke or similar. By the way you have not joined
the VAGB yet!!

I hope Fleur is sailing well. I launched Southern Comfort on Staurday in F8
Easterly Gales!! Horrible day..
