Stern anchors... what's in your inventory?

Kings Gambit: I use 50 feet of nylon line and the mushroom with flukes is like the Walmart one that is on Scott Tbirds link except white. I might have bought it at Walmart - I don't remember. It is 30 lbs like the one I have. I just pitch it off my stern as far as I can swing it out. I'm usually anchored in 10 to 15 feet and probably have 25 to 30 feet of rode out, so maybe 2 to 3 to 1 scope - not very much. I usually can pull it off by hand after all night, but on occasion I've used my dinghy hoist to break it loose. I have a stern and bow wash down hose so I bring it up, blow off the mud with the hose and let it sit on my stern lazzarette. It's worked good for what it is for and is very simple. I do watch the forecast and wouldn't stake my boat on it, but for a river bank parallel anchorage in light winds it has worked out ok for us.

Bow is a Mantus (and it sticks like glue).
Stern is a danforth that came with the boat.
I don't see any need for anything on the stern other than a danforth/fortress. You never rotate a stern anchor around and often it's launched from the dink so lightweight is a big plus.

The CQR copy that came with the boat is sitting in my pile of scrap metal. Thinkin about making a mailbox post out of it. But I'm a bit worried that when the wind picks up I'd find my mailbox down the street.

.... Im on my phone so I can't post pics. ...
I'm back on my computer now. Here is a pic of how I set up my stern anchor. The black pipe is hose clamped onto my stern rail and sits on a lip at the bottom of my transom. The 4" pipe is long enough that I can set 10' of chain down in the pipe as well as the anchor. I also made a bridle that quick snaps to two U-bolts off of the stern. I sometimes use the bridle to tow my dingy but I bring the dingy up to the boat when at anchor. You can also see how I wrapped the bridle line around two bumpers. This keeps the line floating so I don't get it sucked up in the prop. I still have to be careful in reverse with the line and the prop but it works great so long as I am moving forward. The bumpers also double as a snubbers. Probably don't really need a snubber but I like the idea of it none-the-less.
