where is the best place to mount 4 stereo speakers in the catalina 320? Iquestion where to go in the cockpit as well as inside any suggestions

I was just at a yard where there is a new 32 being commissioned. The cockpit speakers were mounted under the perch (obersavation) seats. They were approximately 3" by 8" and looked petty good..............Gary

Bose Speakers

I have a friend who has a 320 with the following setup:The cockpit has Bose 151 speakers were mounted under the rail seats.I will be adding the same to my C-36 this year.The Main Cabin has Bose 131 speakers mounted in the forward bulkheadsThe sound is great and can be turn on or off in each place by using the fader on the stereo.Good Luck

Poly Planars

On my previous c28 and current c320 I built a box that houses 2 downward facing low-mag interference Poly Planars and 2 12v outlets. It is attached to the front of the pedistal, has a hinged cover to create a little storage area, protect the outlets, and act as a small shelf. This solved the speaker placement and hand held VHF battery issue mentioned in another post for me. I can also run my hand held gps and million candle power spotlight that way. I also have the "front" 2 speakers mounted in the forward cabin bulkhead.Stan
