Hi SteveS of LA, CA, You posted a description of a 12 volt electric winch system that you installed for stepping and lowering the mast of your H216. Could you provide the name, model number, etc. for the 12 volt electric winch that you puchased from Wal Mart? Also, some details about the switch you installed to reverse the winch motor to lower the mast? Lamar

Heres a lead on a winch
I set up a 2000lb 12v ATV winch w/brake on our 240 that helps step the mast. Got ours at Harbor freight for $50 but can't find it on their website now. They had them in the store last week so they're still around. Mine had a 6' remote switch with a fwd and rev. used a portable 12v jumpstart pack to power it.
