Have done my own with help of yard crane
What I do is to remove all sails, boom, etc., that can come off the mast while it is still up. Then make sure that the electrical wires inside the mast can be be easily disconnected and pulled up into the mast. On my '84 Cat 30 that meant making sure that wires going up thru the deck in the head area are free to pull up once the mast is up a foot or so off the deck. Then release the strain on the various turnbuckles that hold the lines so that yard people can quickly disconnect them and pull the mast up. Mine was off the boat and on the deck in 15 minutes.
