Stephen I could not find you in the directory so I will try this way I note from your reply to my query on the spinniker pole slide installation, that you used a regular T track. Was it a particular brand? Did you have to install any fill into the dovetail groove in the mast? I would be grateful if you would let me know via this medium or via my email as in the directory as to how you completed the installation, also the actual slide you used and how practical it has been for you in its operation. Many thanks Tony Wilcox

hi Tony

I'm in the owners directory as a 33.5 owner. I don't remember what brand track and locking car I used, but I don't think it really matters. I'm looking at the West Marine 2000 catalog right now, page 513. They show Schaefer T-tracks and slides in 1' and 1-1/4" , I guess I would go with the 1-1/4" for your boat ( I think thats what size I used) All I did was drill and tap holes into the mast and mount the 6' track. I didn't fill in the grooves for the built-in track slide, no need to. You might want to hoist your spinnaker and note where the proper pole height would be on the mast; usually your pole will be perpindicular to the mast. If you mounted the track maybe 24"-30" above the deck you would probably be OK.
