Has anyone had to replace their stem fitting on their 310? I became aware that this is a potential failure point on numerous models and certain years and so I inspected mine and found two small cracks in the area where this failure typically occurs (see pictures)
. I understand that the design has been changed to minimize or eliminate this as a weak point but I am trying to identify the correct replacement. I am in contact with Catalina Direct, Garhauer and Sailboatowners.com for this but wanted to ask if anyone has done this before? I also would suggest if you have not you should inspect the fitting. FYI this is directly below the roller furler.
