i was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the device that screws into the column of the steering wheel to allow you have both hands free. i have a 1983 hunter 34.5 and there is clearly a place where one of these things go. also where could i find one? thanks harry

You should be able to get spares and replacements from a decent marine supplier. Probably special order, don't expect to find everything on WestMarine's web site. Call!
