Steering wheel shaft Beneteau 393

Hello,
I am thinking of upgrading my steering wheel to a Lewmar Folding Wheel.
Before I order, I need to know if the shaft in my 393 (2003 model) is a 1" Morse Taper Shaft or a 1" Parallel Shaft. Any of you know?
I also need to choose 40" vs 42" diameter. I think I'll go for 40", but any advice in this matter is also appreciated.

Measure the wheel you have and use that size.

The clever people at Lewmar have a solution to your question. The wheel comes with a removable insert for the hub. When I got my wheel last summer it came with 2 hubs, a tapered hub and a straight hub.

When you pull the wheel off, you will be able to tell if you have a tapered or straight shaft. If you are unsure, take off the wheel turn it around and see if it goes back on. If it does, you have a straight shaft, if not, it is tapered.
