Steering arm knuckle

I recently removed the rudder on my 1990 Beneteau 35s5. It was not easy, I had to cut one of the steering knuckles from the steering arm. Now I can't find a replacement. Beneteau sells the whole arm for $800 I just need the knuckle or spefications

Where exactly did you cut the arm? Did you shorten the threads on the drive rod? Those ball swivel linkage connections should be available at industrial suppliers - not necessarily a Beneteau part - but the original might be metric... If you cut through the threads on the rod it's probably too short now to get things working right.
