While trying to replace the steaming light on my 83 C30 I let the wiring go "into the hole" and down into the mast in a moment of carelessness. After stringing together a couple of colorful words I tried to sort out my predicament. I was unable to locate where the wiring enters the mast to try to pull the wires through but was unsuccessful. I think I am stuck simply dropping new wiring down from the light, drilling a hole at the bottom of the mast and re running the wires back to the circuit box. Has this happened to anyone else and how did they fix it? Would I be better off hiring someone (probably, judging by my first outing ha ha) or is there a straightforward way to fix this. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks and happy sailing.
