Looking for good advice on type and size as well as cost for installed AC unit on my 1995 35.5. Also any advice on location in the boat to put the unit and if running duct lines is necessary.
Call Artic Marine Air in Florida and tell them that you have a 35.5 Hunter. Their number is 813-447-5432. They built a special unit for me that fit into the starboard settee on my 35.5. My total cost was around $2500 and that included having the marina pull the boat and put the through holes in plus the cooling water system installation. I did all of the duct work myself plus installing the unit.
Frank, we have a 1990 H35.5 located in Haven Harbour marina in Rock Hall. We have a Rotary Aire 10,000 BTU AC installed under the nav table on the starboard side. I'd be happy to show you the intallation some week-end, if you are interested.
