I have an O'day 322. The 2gm20f starts and runs great (knocks on wood). The only problem is that the key cylinder is worn out such that I have to jiggle it sometimes to get it to turn. Once it is turned, I push the starter button and everything is great. I am looking to buy a new starter switch to swap out with the old one. Appears to be real simple to wire - anything I should be aware of?

Read directions on the box, follow the directions. Take a picture of the switch wiring before you remove any wires. Put the wires on the new switch in the same place as the old. Make sure the connectors are in good shape (ring connectors preferred). If in doubt replace the connectors. Your option: a touch of Vaseline or dielectric grease on the connections to reduce corrosion.

For the starter push button, one white wire on each side. It won't matter if you swap them.

For the key switch there is nothing magic about the switch. It only handles the positive voltage. My schematic only shows 3 wires.
White and red/black on one terminal, Red on the other.
