Starter handle?

Does anyone have an old Yanmar starter handle tucked away at the back of the garage/shed they no longer need? My old Yanmar 2GM has developed a problem where the starter motor jambs occasionaly (usually just as I am about to enter harbour, with an on-shore wind)and I need to be able to swing the engine to un-jamb it and/or to get it started.
There was no handle when I bought the boat and it has always been a -"must get one, one day" - thing. I imagine the original was a cranked hadle with something at one end (socket?) that will fit a 27.5/28mm, (or about 1 and 1/8th inch in old money) nut on the end of the crankshaft - of course it must have release shoulders (so it doesn't break my arm when the engine starts).
I will happily pay postage to Cyprus and make a small donation to your favourite beer fund if required.
Cheers

I hope you are big? Those little Yanmars are almost impossible to
start and though a few may have accomplished it most will tell you they
could not manage it. Doug

I have one (only one) but it does not fit on the crankshaft nut, rather that fitting on the end of the camshaft. and the drive mechanism is a pin through the shaft. If you have a freshwater cooled engine, the drive is not accessible. If the starter sticks it is because the bendix is broken (actually the spring that retracts it otherwise hitting the starter (difficult I know as it is under the air cleaner) with a wrench or hammer would free the bendix. And are you sure it is the bendix getting stuck in the flywheel ring instead of the much more common problem where you just can't get enough power through the mechanical switch to activate the solenoid. There are long conversations about this on the yanmardieselnospam list.

Thanks for that information. It only sticks occasionally, all other times the engine will start with the slightest provocation (since I had the injectors and injector pump serviced and adjusted the injection timing and valves). The solenoid 'clicks' whenever the starter button is pressed, all the cables are less than 2 years old and there is no corrosion on any of the connections so I am pretty sure all electrical contacts are OK. The bendix spring may need replacing but I'd like to leave that until the winter as the engine will have to come out to get at the starter motor. I can turn the crankshaft with a spanner (ignition off) to free it up but the experience made me decide it was time to track down a starter handle. Hence my plea.
I'll take a look at the camshaft fitting you mention when I next get to the boat.
