Our category 1 tractor is a 3 cylinder diesel with front loader. When we first bought it, used, it took us forever to get it to start. There were 4 safety interlocks in the start circuit. All had to be set correctly. If you were using the tractor and shut off the engine, forget it. It would mean that all levers had to be returned to neutral to start it again. They were wired in series. And one of them was corroded a little and wouldn't let it start no matter what. A jumper wire worked great. and it only took a few minutes to bypass all the safety interlocks. Now, to buy a mower for the PTO.
