Thanks to all the help from the forum and friends, Today was the day to put her in and it was flawless.
After a few months of work and sweat and being blessed with some nice spots of good weather, I was able to finish her up and and launch her.
Today was one of those spotty rain days and we had a nice 3 hour window to get the mast up, run the outboard and move her to the slip.
It was nice to be on the water for atleast a little while!!!!

If you look in my photo book, the last several pictures are from today.

That boat came out looking excellent! I really don't mind a rainy day out on the water. I'd just sprawl out on the V birth and read a book and wind up falling asleep in the cabin. It sure beats working.

Thanks Guys, I'm really excited about this one. (especially since I came from wood).

The small wooden hatch cover is where I stow anchor & rode.

In another day or so I'll get the interior on film, what a difference and not at that much expense.

Wow! That boat looks sweet Kevin! Excellent job. I especially like the cushion covers. I need to replace mine. They're all shot. I've already replaced them once. The head liner fabric material has it's advantages. You can stick Velcro on picture frames and hang them in the cabin. I had bought a thin stainless steel towel holder from Target and stuck two strips of Velcro on the back of it and hung it in my cabin. I bought the black Velcro at an automotive store. I roughed up the back of the metal towel holder with a wire brush attachment on my drill press first and cleaned it with Acetone before I applied the Velcro. I have two pictures hanging in my cabin and a framed quotation from the beginning chapter of Herman Melville's famous novel, Moby Dick. Of course, my cabin art collection wouldn't be complete without-- a picture of Penelope!
