Starboard Outboard

My H240 seems to heel faster to starboard than to port.. the only explanation I can see is that it is due to the outboard being mounted on the starboard side of the transom. I was thinking about throwing a few pounds of gear on the port side of the aft lazarette (behind the aft berth). Has anyone noticed this and does anyone have any ideas?

Battery

MY 23.5 is the same way. I also have two batteries on the stbd side. I just finished relocating the batteries to under the v-berth. I also have a 20-25 gal water bag under the sink on the port side. I am hoping that this will fix my heeling issue. More balanced than has been.

Add weight

Chris, I had a similar problem on my 97 H26. Outboart on starboard but two large batteries on port. I was heavey on port side and the aft part of boat in general. I used water softner salt and added 4 under the v-berth and one in the aft starboard locker. The bags lay flat and don't move and seem to have taken care of all my weight problems, fore and aft and starboard to port.
