Spring project; install a NavPod CP20RA & AG225 on a H37c which has the original Edson pedestal guard. The Edson is 9.5" on center with a 1" tube ( I'm guessing here as the boat is in Annapolis & I'm in Nova Scotia ) The system I wish to install is 12" center & 1.25" tube. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a Top Plate Adaptor to fit the Edson for a 12" x 1.25". I found one for 9.5" x 1.25" (TP125). So, can STARboard be used to fashion a Top Plate for the 12" size and will in be strong enough. Also is there enough room when replacing the original Top Plate with one made from 1/2" STARboard between the top of the Pedestal and the Compass.

Ocean Marine has a top plate for the 12" wide 1.25" tube. I just received one last week as I will be also attempting to install a new 12" wide 1.25" diameter pedestal guard in the spring. The part number is TP225 894001217 and it is white. Ocean equipment can be reached at 949-588-1470. Thanks Greg, AG225 = TP225. I found the TP125 but didn't think to search TP225 although I looked through all the categories. I must have been tired, it was a long Xmas. I think you will be ahead of me on the new install, I don't think that will be off the list until May, it's a long list. Is your pedestal a Edson.?? Robert
