Star Spangled Spectacular in Baltimore

Would love to go to this event, but have absolutely no idea how to get to it in Baltimore. Currently in Rockville, MD, and think I can get to Baltimore, but have reservations about where to park. They suggest buying tickets before arriving - prices are as high as $50/day (I'm assuming per day - just said $51)

Can anyone suggest where to park, so that car won't get vandalized and I won't get mugged walking to event?

95 north toward Ft. McHenry tunnel. exit onto 395 north, (or Russell st. North) toward the inner harbor. this dumps you out onto northbound roads at inner Harbor area.
Most all downtown hotels have attached parking garages and parking will probably be available at the football or baseball stadiums.
Light rail would be another option as the rail stops at Camden Yards are a 2 block walk to the Harbor to the east.
You also might want to check Marc rail online , I think they now have Sunday runs into downtown but not positive on that. Downtown hotels used to be a bargain but $20 parking won`t surprise me for a big event.

Go by rail. The town will be a mess for parking. The new casino is open, the Ravens play tonight, the O's added an afternoon game against the Yankees tomorrow.
