I also have standing water in the cockpit drain hole which allows access to the hose from the cockpit drain to unknown points below. Our boat also has a second 2" hole about a foot forward of the cockpit drain hole... empty and seemingly devoid of purpose. The cavity below is about 4" deep, could this accommodate an electric bilge pump?
